Pelicans make me so happy! Where I’m from in Wisconsin there aren’t many pelicans, so – similarly to palm trees – once I moved to Florida they became a novelty. If you are seeing a pelican, it means you’re near the water (a.k.a. my happy place). I associate them with the smell of salt in the air, a humid sea breeze and sunsets on the beach. And I never tire of watching them - whether they’re diving straight out of the sky for a fish, or simply perched on a post nearby as I enjoy the sunshine and good vibes!
