This original abstract floral painting is on a 1.5" deep canvas. The back is wired and ready to hang, and the image continues onto the edges so it can be hung without a frame.
With this painting I am beginning to explore a theme of floral bouquets that have been dunked underwater. Agitated marks create movement and distortion, and the highlights and lighter colors peeking through suggest sunlight reflecting near the surface. This painting feels refreshing, bold and invigorating… a bit like you might feel after jumping in!
