This original abstract floral painting features a navy, violet and periwinkle color palette with pops of deep yellow. It is on a highly textured, 1.5" deep canvas. The image continues onto the edges. The back is wired and ready to hang.
A result of time spent in quarantine, my latest series of florals explores concepts that have arisen both internally and externally during a challenging time. With loose, intuitive brushwork and texturized patterns, I begin to push at the boundaries of abstraction and imperfection. There is beauty, but there is also disruption - a reflection of the stress and anxiety in this time we are living in.
