A result of time spent in quarantine, my latest series of florals explores concepts that have arisen both internally and externally during a challenging time. With loose, intuitive brushwork and texturized patterns, I begin to push at the boundaries of abstraction and imperfection. There is beauty, but there is also disruption - a reflection of the stress and anxiety in this time we are living in.
